20-21 January 2017     SLEEP  and  NIGHT DREAMS
We would like to invite you to take part in our Multidisciplinary Scientific Conference Sleep and Night Dreams. The organizer of this event is  Research Unit for Dreams, Memory and Imagination Studies at the Faculty of Languages at the University of Gdańsk in Poland.      
We are interested in various approaches to the subject of dreams: in the perspective of literature and art as well as in medical, social and neurological science. We are open to all fields of knowledge. Presentations in which participants will just talk about their dreams are also very welcome.
The Multidisciplinary Conference ,,Sleep and Night Dreams” will be an opportunity to exchange ideas from very different areas. In one panel you will be able to listen to (for example) psychiatrists, artists and priests.
The purpose of the Conference is to collect potentially broad knowledge of sleep and night dreams functioning  in various areas of reflection.
 
Deadline for proposal:  15th November
Please submit abstracts (no longer than 300 words) of your proposed 20-minute presentations, together with a short biographical note, by 15th November 2016  to sleep.nightdreams@gmail.com

3. To 23th December you need to pay the conference fee
In order to participate in the conference (as a speaker or audience member), you need to pay a conference fee of  EUR 140 or USD 170. The fee covers:
– an  banquet on the first day of the conference
– a conference buffet at the meetings
– conference materials
– publication of a selection of papers
4. We will publish the conference plan.
5. 20-21 November 2016 in Gdansk - We will share the time with scientists from around the world.
